Re: 2012 Indian Wells

Kei and Pico lost to Paes/Stepanek. 6-7(4) 4-6.
Onto Miami!! :rocker2:

After hurting shoulder in Acapulco, Kei apparently didn't have a lot of time on court to practice. That might have shown in his singles match although the injury must've got better, otherwise he wouldn't stayed on to play doubles.

BTW, Ito won in Kyoto and it means he make Top-100. With soeda and Kei it means 3 Japanese players in Top-100! Is it a record?
I think so, although Ito's breaking into top 100 isn't confirmed yet.

[WC] Alisa Kleybanova (RUS) v [22] Maria Kirilenko (RUS)

[16] Kei Nishikori (JPN) v Lukas Lacko (SVK)
Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) v [29] Juan Ignacio Chela (ARG)

Probably no streaming........ but good luck, Kei!
According to his recent blog entry, the shoulder problem he sustained in Acapulco lasted longer than we thought. But this week he's been practicing fine. Yesterday he practiced with Del Potro.
Lacko has been playing very well this season, so should not be underestimated. He likes fast surfacers and it seems the outside courts in Miami this year play a lot faster than usual.
