Hi everyone, i'm a beginner level player. I've taken private lessons from a coach with an ITF license for a few months last year. Ever since i broke my racket(by smashing it) last September, i've never practiced to improve my skills. I want to pick up now, so i went to play today against my dad and i completely lost all feel of the ball. The coach has gone overseas so he's unavailable. Should i find another coach and re-learn everything? Or should i just practice on my own? Or should i have the new coach help me with recovering my touch?
I played tennis for a couple of months last year and took a short month or two break, now I'm back practicing for the upcoming season and I'm still rusty. The best way I have found to gain back some of what you had is to start practicing and just play matches for fun against some friends.
K,Fanks man. I played today for fun with one of my friends and i did get some stuff back, i guess i just need to shake off the rust.
