He is on fire! Good thing he doesn't go to the US yet and plays another challenger next week. Then to the US Open for 1 or 2 matches and back to Europe.
He lost 7-6 6-3 to Michael Ryderstedt, who is ranked 392. Not good. There was a moment when Dani was down 1-3 in the second set and he got into a 5 minute debate on whether or not Ryderstedt had received coaching from his box. It got worse from there.
I had high hopes from this match considering the other guy is nearly in the 400s.
