Dani will be playing Nieminen in the US Open, a tough 1st round match but he can get it done.

#166 ·
Good win for DGT 7-6 6-4 6-3 over Nieminen, given he has struggled on the hardcourts.

Will play ballbashing Chardy.

Dani took out the ballbasher Chardy in 4 sets and plays Ferrer in a Valencian derby.

3rd round in singles and doubles, excellent for Dani. He can have a bit of rest and then off to Banja Luka.

DGT is playing Craplocq in the 1st round of Bucharest.

#171 ·
Daniel lost to Berlocq leading a set and *5-3. Not good, but no more clay and off to the hardcourts now.

#174 ·
No need to worry about the rankings.

#177 ·
DGT got up over Schwank 6-4 6-4 and will play the winner of Nieminen and Tsonga.

DGT and Nieminen areplaying again for a spot in the QF.

He lost 7-6 6-3 to Michael Ryderstedt, who is ranked 392. Not good. There was a moment when Dani was down 1-3 in the second set and he got into a 5 minute debate on whether or not Ryderstedt had received coaching from his box. It got worse from there.
I had high hopes from this match considering the other guy is nearly in the 400s.
