Roger def. Richard 7-6(7), 6-7(7), 6-4

What a match
Richard had set points in the first set then saved two match points in the 2nd. I'm more than happy with this result. I was expecting a straight sets easy win for Roger. Even though Roger wasn't playing that well, it showed Richie fighting which is good to see. Of course, I would of liked if he would have won the match, but it shows that Richard is making some progress. Hopefully, Richard can take a lot out of this match for the future.

:)

I'm proud of the way Richard fought, and that he didn't collapse after losing the first set! Let's hope he can keep this up at Nottingham! :)

Well, on a positive note, Roger still has a shot at beating Borg's record. :D
Yeah, that'll be cool. Although I was kinda hoping Richie would spoil it for him! ;)

Maybe he could spoilt it at Wimby once Roger has established the record.

OK, who am I kidding? :haha:
 you are the last person I would expect to say that! But he is the person who came the closest to beating him on grass in a long time so who knows! ;)
