Hopefully they can make it and Tennis Australia doesn't abandon them for a younger kid when they start going through a rough time like they have done so many times before. The bar that Tennis Australia sets will be extremely high given what Tomic has accomplished as seen by Kubler's wildcard into the AO where Tennis Australia thought he could replicate Tomic from the year before. They have already started hyping up the generations that follow them as well (eg Jay Andrijic). There seems to be some positive things like the appointments of Mantilla, Ruffles and I think Pat Cash has been doing a bit of work with them but unfortunately the same board is still in place because of a pathetic voting situation and until that situation is rectified we will still be underachieving in the world of tennis.
