Yesterday's performance against Ferrero reminded me why I love Jo's brand of tennis. He had it all going:
-explosive serves (did he really hit 148 and 151mph a couple of times?)
-attacking forehands
-solid backhands (this shot has improved significantly and he's defending better from that side); and
-(gasp) returns of serve - he's getting good balls into play and looking to take control from there
Really happy with his performance. Did not have those moments of madness where he loses serve through silly errors. Will need more of the same against Nadal who, as we know, never says die.
