I have seen him in a couple of tournaments I've played also, in Bulgaria and Turkey
I even remember an episode when he played a turkish guy. It was a tight match and very nervous. Between points when they were giving balls back to the server they were hitting hard aiming to hit each other. Halachev won and at the hand shake the turkish guy slapped him, there was a small fight but the others were quick to stop them.
