Worth a new thread I think. We can give each other tips of point construction. I'm pretty good at constructing points in singles but stink at doubles, where I play a very predictable game by comparison, so could use some good, solid advice from a pro like yourself, Angle Queen

Thanks, Tidus...but I'm no pro. More like a little ole lady who's been playing awhile.
"Constructing" points in doubles is a lot harder since there are twice as many people on court, points are usually much shorter and there's a lot of reaction/defense going on. You can try to practice standard strategies/patterns (i.e. pulling both opponents in...if they're not there already...then going up the middle or over their heads). Even though they're "known" by both sides of the net...they often "work". And it's the experienced player(s) who defend it well or don't allow themselves to get in those positions for their opponents to perpetrate them.
