Five direct acceptance (Cilic, Karlovic, Ancic, Ljubicic, Karanusic) + three wildcards (Mektic, Zovko, Veic) + one qualifier (Dodig). I don't know for sure but I doubt we have ever had that many Croatian players in a tournmanent higher than ITF.

By the way, congratulations to Dodig for qualifying. He had to beat Middelkoop, #4 seed Koubek and #6 seed Fischer (at least I think he beat Fischer, as opposed to a W/O; scores for the last round aren't up on the ATP website).
