Croatia is punished by ITF because the court speed was irregular - loses 2000 points at Davis Cup ranking and will be fined (value not announced). Brazil asked to be given the victory (and then would play in World Group 2009) and/or an indenization (value not announced), both were denied. ITF said although the court was irregular, it was up to the referee to say if the court was fine for playing,and added Brazil should have made the protest on first day of the tie (it happened on the second day).
Except for grass and clay fields, the court speed must fit a new ITF rule.
