I am totally gutted for Tsonga. He was so looking forward to Roland Garros. It would have been an incredible joy just to see him trying to conquer clay, win or lose.

Good to hear that he's not expressing regrets about Cassablanca. I suppose it was something he had to do for himself, find out if he could adapt his game to the surface and indeed the results were encouraging. Hopefully, next year we'll see him finish what he started, this time on the grand stage at RG.

Tsonga, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I wish you a successful operation and speedy recovery. Looking forward to see you again, hopefully very soon. Bon courage.
