Brazilian duo won a long match in the 1st round as well. After 3 hours 21 minutes they beat Benneteau/Mahut 6-7 6-3 7-6 2-6 6-3. What an amazing tournament for them

From atptennis.com

The previous record for the most number of games in a Wimbledon men’s doubles match was 98, set in 1966, when American Eugene Scott and Niki Pilic of Yugoslavia ousted American Cliff Richey and Torben Ulrich of Denmark 19-21, 12-10, 6-4, 4-6, 9-7.

5:58h ?

It was the second longest match in duration in Wimbledon history, falling just 11 minutes short of the all-time record set in 2006 when Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor beat Simon Aspelin and Todd Perry 5-7, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, 23-21.
