Default Re: Back to Melbourne Park, AO 07

In L'Équipe:
He lost in 3 sets, but it was his best match of the tournament in his opinion. Davydenko is a machine, he's admirable. No other player is able to attack every ball like that. He returns everything and very fast. When you're playing very well and you're down 0-2 in the sets, you feel like: 'But what am I supposed to do to win this??' It 'kills' him. If they had played 30 more minutes, he would have landed in the hospital. He even prefers to play Nadal!

(In his audio interview on the FFT website, he also says he prefers to play Fed over Davydenko. He obviously won't beat Fed either, but at least he knows what to do, how to play against him. With Davydenko, he feels completely helpless.)
