Default Re: §*§ GaŽl's Videos & Audios §*§

The video Julie was speaking about (there: http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...6&page=9&pp=15 ) is actually still watchable.

Just go there where the archives of all the previous Stade 2 (sports reports show) are still to be found ( ):
http://stade2.france2.fr/stade2.htm

It is at the bottom of the page...
That's mostly about his win in Sopot but it also recalls his life in tennis so far: his numerous mistakes, the changes of his teenager's mood, the way he's gone so fast from a little skinny kid with huge spectacles (lol) in the Parisian "banlieue" to the player he tries to become etc..(he criticizes himself, they do it too etc... on bad rap music and on tunes with lots of violins supposed to be emotional, i think you see what i mean... ). the place he's playing basket is the INSEP where he trained during all his childhood maybe the guys with him are even "basket students" there....

But i think we should quickly capture (?) those we like (i don't know the English word, AGAIN! ) because i assume this page will soon disapear...
The videos' quality has already decreased a lot since when they were first put online....

In the rest of these archives, there are also these vids who show GaŽl:

- A very little bit (don't blink...lol) there in the videos of the end of this year's DC tie between France and Sweden (bottom of the page)...:
http://stade2.france2.fr/stade2_20050306.htm

-You can see GaŽl practising, playing basket (lol @ Grosjean...), eating ("healthy disgusting food" GaŽl mentioned in the bad aspects of being in a DC team: the menus, remember Marine?), making stupid things imposed by the physical trainer, watching a 2005 6 nations rugby match (France vs. Wales with Llodra pissed by the way things were going after halftime and showing it loudly ...) etc... in the preparation training camp of the French DC team in a suburb of Geneva (Carouge), Switzerland before the above-mentioned tie (fourth video from the top of the page)...:
http://stade2.france2.fr/stade2_20050227.htm

-This one (bottom of the page) was during Metz 2004. One of GaŽl's first ATP tournament played. You can see he changed his attitude towards the umpire, bad calls etc...a lot when you see that. Now he just make a dejected face and turns his back on it when that happens but you can often tell it's still hard for him to control himwelf... Good boy. Try to keep that inside. :

-Eurosport video interview of a very disapointed GaŽl after his defeat in the 2005 AO: http://www.eurosport.com/home/pages/...ven19146.shtml

-Eurosport video interview of a dejected GaŽl after his R1 defeat at the 2005 US Open (that was already posted there, post #157: http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...&page=11&pp=15 ): mms://wmediavod.coltfrance.com/wmeur..._3_320x240.wmv

-Post-match interview after the deserved spanking he received in the first round of this 2005 RG against CaŮas (a good experience, an important lesson, a few boos by the public and then he admitted he didn't prepare well enough and had to refocus on working a lot more and on tennis only... ): http://roland-garros.france2.fr/tout...sx/arton29.asx

-Other images of the spanking in this one : http://roland-garros.france2.fr/tout...sx/arton30.asx

(-He gets teased and a bit criticized there but it's very very short: http://roland-garros.france2.fr/tout...sx/arton63.asx )

There are some audios available too but i'll let that to others...Maybe we could make transcripts and then translate them when we'll have time for everybody to understand what's going on, what's said in these videos?
