Re: *Horia Tecau-the rising star of tomorrow and the most handsome Romanian player ever*
Horia won a Futures Title at this time last year, and those points came off his ranking on Monday. He lost 51 places and is now ranked #410 in the world (yikes). Here is his projected schedule for the rest of the year. He has to win a lot of these matches, he really needs points (and a few dollars in winnings wouldn't hurt either).
Oct 24: Seoul, Korea Challenger - qualies begin on Oct 22.
Oct 31: Caloundra, Australia Challenger - he got direct entry into this one
Nov 7: Futures event in Australia
Nov 14: Futures event in Australia
Nov 21: Futures event in Australia
At that point, he and his coach will look at his ranking and possibly come back to the States to play one last Challenger, or call it a year.
Best twitter posts of the epic match:
@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.
@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.
@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.
