"Strong field of competitors in qualifications for the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament
The organizers of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament have not just been blessed with an extremely strong field of competitors for the main tournament; former top-10 players and other great talents have also registered for the qualification tournament. For example, apart from Nicolas Kiefer and Karol Kucera, the Belgian brothers Olivier and Christophe Rochus will make their appearance in the weekend prior to the main tournament. In addition, Mario Ancic has signed up for the qualifications. Last month, this Croatian talent knocked out Sjeng Schalken during the second round of the Australian Open. The Australian Wayne Arthurs, listed 46th in the world rankings, is the highest-seeded player in the ranking. And the wildcards will be given to Jean-Julien Rojer, a Dutchman coming from Curacao.
