I forgot to mention Leo Tavares. Another cameback, just like Rui. He was out even longer with different seriours injuries, some of them at the same time. Its amazing how he still is playing tennis. And what a great comeback, for the former top 200 who is barelly in top 1500 now. 4 wins in the quali and a very routine win against number 8 seed Escoffier. He is also favourite for the next round. Good to see Machado coming back to winning days too. Pedro Sousa and difficulties, but not a big surprise, since he likes to do things harder for himself.

Great to see that the only portugueses that lost were the ones who played versus other portuguese players. So 5 home players in 2nd round. Not bad at all VAMOS!
