Gulbis only was broken in first set first game and lost his first service in the Tie-Break. His other sevice games were far away from any danger...
It was very close, but Gulbis certainly wasn't the better player. Przysieżńy had breakpoints in both sets, whereas on Przy's serve Gulbis got to deuce once, twice at most. Przy was very solid off the ground for his standards.
Przysiezny as always up for a match against a big name player
, he has a peculiar habit of playing like an amateur against very low ranked players but you can count on him to show up for a match like this.
