This first post in the thread is devoted to the rules of the new game on MTF: PYW. The draw appears in the second thread. Please vote!

Some of the MTF members that are also members of WTAworld might know the game called Pick-Your-Winner [PYW]. PYW is an entire Tour of its own. It features all the ATP events above Challenger level.

How it works:

Every week, we start with the real-time draw of the ATP events. This includes wild cards and qualifiers. From there, posters have to pick the player they like most in each match up. That makes it a unique popularity contest. So if Olivier Rochus plays Marat Safin in the first round, and you are a big Oli fan, you would vote for Olivier Rochus.

Every vote counts as a game. The first vote will be the first game in the match; the second vote will be the second game. All matches are Best of three sets. This also goes for Grand Slams, cause they would take too long to complete otherwise. A tie-break consists of one vote only.

The winners of each match move on to the next round. Eventually, there will be a final between two players. Whoever wins that can call himself the proud winner of a PYW event!

Live Scores:

All rounds will feature live scores to see who is leading who. For this, PYW needs some people that will help run the game on MTF. I myself will be doing this, and hopefully some other people will join.

Rankings:

PYW will also have rankings, so we can actually keep track of who is most popular. Only the Top 8 players will play the TMS Cup in Shanghai!

How to participate:

All the PYW threads will be in the Tournament forums on MTF You cannot miss them. So just vote for who you like most!
