Almagro wasn't even close to winning in those three QF matches he played at RG, but understandable given he met Nadal in each of them.

Tipsarevic is/was closer IMO, because he held a winning position to be in a SF (unlike Almagro). Blew the chance of a life time in that 5th set, and hasn't been the same since
