one life = one life. If you would sacrifice 1 for 5 in the first example, then you should in the second one, too. We don't know if the person in the first example is fat or not. It shouldn't matter.
Anyway I think in the second example it's a fat guy because you need a fat guy to stop a train. It'll just run right through a skinny guy. Not discrimination, just physics.
