I think football is less predictable. In tennis, even if you lead 2-0 in sets, you still need to be better than your opponent in one set. Benneteau-Federer was a great example on that in Wimbledon. 2-0 is anything but comfortable lead against a considerably better player. But in football, 2-0 lead after 70 minutes is quite comfortable even if your opponent team is better.
