Default Re: Toronto: Raonic vs. Roddick

Roddick took the "match" 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 (third set breaker).

I didn't see the match, but from what I've read, both players were fairly competitive about it. Roddick put on a show with mock anger and injury timeouts, but they both got down to business at the start of every point. Milos didn't hold anything back on the serve, reaching above 224 kmh at one point.

Roddick held Raonic in high regard, praising him for both his abilities and his work ethic, which he believes has been a critical shortcoming in many American junior players. Raonic, in turn, said he could learn from Andy's fighting spirit, and thanked him for participating in the event. He said he hopes to continue bringing Canadian crowds to tennis with these year-end demonstrations.
