THE Match of the day : Ruber RAMIREZ HIDALGO (ESP)[1] vs Ricardo HOCEVAR (BRA)
By BrunoBeidacki

The match of the day couldn't be better chosen, for all TT players, choose the winner of this match is going to be tough. In one side, the spanish Ramirez Hidalgo, seed number 1, top 100 who has already two challenger titles in 2012, after winning a 125-pointer in Tunis, three weeks after getting the first place trophy in San Luis Potosi, Bolivia, both in April. On the other side, we have experienced player Ricardo Hocevar, from Brazil, who won a Challenger in Belem, two weeks ago, and is coming strong after a couple injuries in the beggining of the year. One thing we can't deny is that the winner of the match will go strong for the title, even though we have great players in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul to play the challenger. It's going to be, without doubt, an thrilling match.

Writer's Pick: Ramirez Hidalgo in 3 sets.

THE player to follow: Guilherme CLEZAR (BRA)
By BrunoBeidacki

The first player to watch of Porto Alegre's Challenger is no one less then the biggest brazilian promise, 19-year old Guilherme Clezar, who is playing in his hometown to get a good amount of wins in this end of season. The brazilian young player already have a Challenger title, and has been playing well in the last couple months after spending a part of his season in Europe, fighting against good experienced players. In Porto Alegre, Clezar will take on seed number 4, another experienced european player, Adrian Ungur, who happens to have lost to Clezar's training partner, Andre Ghem in Rio de Janeiro last week. Clezar won't have an easy opponent, but he has his chances if he can put up his game to his best level. Don't miss him in action, only here, in Porto Alegre.

The TT results: No surprises
By SUPERTOM93

Sunday was the first & last round for qualification.
No real surprise because the seeded player Kissin_rain (N°1), Don Corleone (N°2) and Broseghini (N°3) won and qualified for the main draw.
The results are quite simple: to have correct picks, you just had to pick the four best seeded players, who all qualified to the main draw of Porto Allegre.
With Don Corleone and Broseghini, there are two more Brazilian in the main draw and the number of Brazilian in the main draw is now 18 out of 32 players!!! (more than 1 chance out of 2 than a Brazilian win Porto Allegre)

TT stakes: Brazilian vs Seeded players + 2 doubles in single confrontation
By SUPERTOM93

The Round 1 will play tomorrow and on Tuesday too, due to the low number of matches tomorrow.
Three matches will oppose Brazilian player and seeded players and in each match, the last match has been won by the Brazilian player: Rafael Fernando (BRA) vs. (3) Thunderfish8 (USA), Samuel Guilherme (BRA) vs. (8) buji (IND), (4) RHB1993 (GER) vs. rneves (BRA). So who, between Thunderfish8, buji and RH1993 will survive to the first round?!
Finally, two matches attract our attention: (5) justafanYYC (CAN) vs. Goldmund (GER)and brimoz (BRA) vs. jpaulo1610 (BRA). Two matches with players together in double... The confrontation is going to be intense..

See you tomorrow for a new gazette!
