Australian Open has always been a slow hard court, even in eras where the courts played differently

Agassi and Courier dominated there, Sampras was just weird there despite being one of the top 3 hard court players in history

Federer is also nowhere near as good at Australian Open as he is at Wimbledon or Us Open. there's a reason most of his wins came in 2007 or earlier when it was faster

same for Nadal also, despite being great at Miami and Indian Wells, is awful at AO

it's just a very weird slam, always has been

personally, I would rather see Wimbledon and Us Open sped up before AO
