Apple make it look as if they invented the fruit, the apple, itself. The lawsuit against a.pl is just unbelievable.
For example, HTC has already won a patent lawsuit against Apple and it's lining up another lawsuit when Apple releases their next Phone which is copying HTC owned patents.
Samsung is not exactly a saint in this patent war either but Apple is becoming too arrogant. The rounded corners accusation was beyond ludicrous.
I'm sure there will be more of a backlash against apple as it grows more powerful. That's natural.
Also, the big tip off that the story was fake was that the color of the coins is wrong. Nickels are gray in color, not copper or bronze colored.
So many things wrong with that story.
I liked this part.
The story actually originated on El Deforma, described (by many) as "an Onion-like Mexican website" - that is, specialising in fake news. Here's the original; I'm grateful to Maria Figueroa, who first pointed this out to me.
She also pointed out that the site has a "tip of the day", which on Wednesday had the advice: "Si vas a plagiar noticias, no uses un sitio de noticias falsas como fuente." Or In English: "If you're going to steal news, make sure not to use a fake news site as a source."
