If it is just at the first deadline, the deadline wouldn't be extended. All people committing now will be LE, which will not be a problem, as they will be in MD anyways. Although in this way the people who committed before the first deadline are certain of their entry in MD. If you still have place left after the second deadline, you might extend the deadline till the end of the weekend!
