Exactly. Under McClagan Murray put on some weight which included a 4000 calorie diet of protein to get bigger but Nole is the guy that really figured it out.
One Nole went on his gluten free diet, Murray followed course and dropped some weight as well. He was never Tsonga big, but he did shed pounds.
Tsonga has done amazingly well for himself. From being a well overweight guy who struggled to crack the top 100 and be relevant to being a top 5 player in the world with that backhand speaks volumes about how much stride hes made, and theres no guarantee that the weight loss will win a slam, he might just not be good enough.
But shedding pounds and changing his diet would definitely help Jo Willy to not get hurt as much as he does and it would have made a difference in Paris this year for sure.
