Djokovic 2011 yeah but Djokovic 2007/2008 no way. Roddick at prime is extremely underrated and the only reason his talent at the time and the great height of his talent was ignored is mainly due to the fact Federer was so often across the net and on the front of newspapers.
when the best player of all time is in your generation it makes you look worse typically. Roddick at his prime was insane from the baseline with powerful groundstrokes and a pretty great net game- add that to his insane serve (arguably one of the best of all time) and it's clear that Isner has no chance against prime Roddick in any fashion and even Djokovic outside of 2011 would probably lose. I think prime Roddick can beat anyone but prime Federer and it just is an unlucky circumstance, Roddick's career, that he came to heights right when Federer did
