Default What did humans do before toothbrushes? Did people used to kiss back then?

I know this seems like a bizare thread. But think about it. Its something in our daily lives we really take for granted.

I guess back in olden times when diets were more natural..perhaps people didnt get such bad breath. But imagine all of a sudden, you cant brush your teeth. After nights out boozing, you cant brush your teeth. Ever. Imagine how bad your breath would be!

People have bad breath even now with everything we have!

So basically, was there no making out or kissing in olden times? Would that be akin to modern "rimming" in terms of disgust levels? Lets face it, hooking up would be the last thing you would want to do. Even sex would be uncomfortable with the person breathing heavilly all over you.

My oh my how lucky we are to be able to express our feelings without as much worry about those things.

Or maybe people just didnt care
