He defeated Peter Polansky (#200), John Millman (#220), Ivo Klec (#234) and eighth seed Matthew Ebden (#197) on his way to final in which he lost to fifth seed Grega Zemlja (#174) 6-7(4) 3-6 and it was the first tie break he lost this year.
