Re: Rafa Nadal def Pablo 'Matinee Idol' Andujar 7-5, 6-3, 7-6

Nadal's ground game is back, no one can understand this, but I can. He'll win his 10th major here! He just needs to be a little more consistent.

Re: What's wrong with Rafa?

His ROS. He stands far back behind the baseline and this style doesn't work anymore against somebody like Nole who can step in and rip those short returns into corners.

Re: Who has best 2nd serve on the tour ?

Roddick, no question about that. His kick serve has also a good amount of pace. No one can get that kind of curve on a kick serve.

Re: Mansour Bahrami one of the biggest 'what if's' in men's tennis?

Yeah, he could have been more successful and even a top 10 player, if the 1979 revolution had not occurred in Iran.

Re: Monte Carlo SF: Nadal beats Murray 6-4 2-6 6-1

Smart players should not give Murray pace, he's not able to generate pace of his own. Nonetheless, I got surprised with the way he hit his forehand today.

Re: Ljubo falls to the pressure of playing in front of home crowd, loses 6-1 6-3 to N

Ivan is not a decent shot maker with that shaky forehand.

Obviously you didn't watch the match, otherwise you would have actually seen how the conditions were out there.

Re: Ljubo falls to the pressure of playing in front of home crowd, loses 6-1 6-3 to N

Not a high octane tennis like Fed-Melzer match overall, but became a little more competitive at the end.
Good for Nadal.

Re: If Verdasco had Federers Backhand...

No!!!!!!! :(
Feli has a decent net game, decent slice backhand, exquisite touch, great feel, beautiful classic serve, lovely soft hands. He plays old school tennis but this Verdasco is nothing more...

Re: Current Top 100 by playing styles

They can develop their game, why not?
Nadal started out as more of an aggressive player, then became defensive, and now he's found the right balance between offense and defense.

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Federer def. Marin " the clutch king" Cilic 6-4 6-3

Marin couldn't hit a proper forehand approach today, missed lots of them either by hitting into the net or overhitting and shanking. Fed's tactic in drawing him into the net with short slices worked...

Re: Current Top 100 by playing styles

Murray is a smart defender, he likes defending, but he's capable of doing everything on the court, I think he's the most complete player among TOP 10 after Federer. I remember his match against...

Re: Current Top 100 by playing styles

We're talking about Nadal's current style not what style he used to play.
Again, I repeat it, attacking is not all about flat hitting, low net clearance and clean winners.
Running your opponents...

Re: Current Top 100 by playing styles

I'm not saying Nadal is an ultra aggressive player. We have different types of aggression, ultra-aggression and controlled aggression. Some players try to hit flat shots and outright winners from...
