Re: Which performance against Nadal in Wimbly did you enjoy more?

I'm an actual fan of Nick, but objectively, that fifth set from Rosol is still one of the most surreal sets of tennis from an underdog I've ever seen.

Re: Wimbledon R2: [Q] Brown def. [10] Nadal, 7-5 3-6 6-4 6-4

Have you seen his arms? Those dreads are probably the only thing giving him any weight behind his ball.

Re: Which tennis moment has inspired you more than any other?

That "Cammon Thomas!" still gets me fired up every. single. time.

I tell myself those words whenever I'm up a game point or down a break. Not even my name, but it works just as well.

Re: New generation (95->) vs Nadal/Djokov generation ranking breakdown

If those two months spanned somewhere from the second week of April to the second week of June (without checking, I'll bet they did), then it's not all that shocking.

Re: Wimbledon R1: Groth d. [31] Sock 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-3

Is that the same hand he banged up in the Doubles at Roland Garros?

Re: The best Nadal version on hard GS.

It's hard to overlook USO 2013 because he got the trifecta that year, but I also feel like Djokovic was his only real obstacle at the time anyway.

For me, it's actually AO 2009. The guy was Teflon....

Re: Wimbledon R1: Groth d. [31] Sock 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-3

Makes tons of sense to me. Sock had no time to do anything. Groth is great at pressing the action, especially off of his serve. Jack looked like he couldn't create anything. His serve is also barely...

Re: Who could have beaten Wawrinka at the French Open?

Are we even considering what the phrase "disrupt his rhythm" actually means? This is like saying Nadal beats Federer by being the more aggressive player. The fact that Djokovic beats Wawrinka is not...

Re: What rivalry produced the most boring matches?

Simon-Monfils comes to mind instantly.

I like Gillou ordinarily, but that rivalry brings out the worst of them both.

Re: Queens FRQ: Paul-Henri Mathieu d. Brydan Klein 6-3 6-2

This Brydan Klein starts frequenting the tour more as Bradley Klahn is nowhere to be found. Coincidence?

Re: Hewitt vs Djokovic - who was/is a more natural on grass?

This. "Serve-and-volley" is not synonymous with "grass court tennis". It's about playing a style that suits the surface. Would anyone call Wawrinka, Soderling, or Del Potro grinders? No, but that...

Re: Hewitt vs Djokovic - who was/is a more natural on grass?

This is outstanding. Chico thinks Hewitt's prime was in 2007 simply because of his age. Let's ignore that he was the youngest #1 ever, and started suffering severe and chronic injuries by 2005. It's...

Re: Who could have beaten Wawrinka at the French Open?

Waiting for errors to come =/= disrupting someone's rhythm.

This is a joke that's not very funny, I'm afraid.
