Which player is the best when in the "zone"?

I think Soderling as when he's hot (like RG match v Nadal) there is pretty much nothing you can do about it. Its his match if you like. Can't see anyone better than him right now.

Re: What's up with Murray?

Hmmm, I'm not sure I think there is more than that. He just doesn't seem to have that fighting spark that he had before for a start....

What's up with Murray?

Why has he been so poor since the Australian Open? Is it a mental thing or much more than that?

Re: Tony parker is more "now" than Federer

Whats the point of having a debate about something where the outcome is so obvious :)

Re: Q: Who's better, Pete or Roger? A: Bjorn.

Coria on his day could beat Nadal, or did you not watch Rome 2005, and that is when Coria was on his way down. Coria and Nadal play very similar games, and there is no doubt that if Coria came back...

Re: Great Federer matches?

Sampras, the same Sampras who lost to Bastl the next year at Wimbeldon  2001 was one of Sampras's worse years on tour, so trying to justify that Sampras was "at his peak" when he played Federer...

Great Federer matches?

This is why he's boring, he wins his matches too easily. What matches in 20 years time do you think they will talk about with Federer - can't think of one. They still go on about McEnroe-Borg from...

Re: Tomas Berdych

No-one deserves anything at all, he has to work and win matches to get there.

Re: Andy tames the Beast 2-6 6-2 6-2

I'm not wrong, because what you're saying is not a fact, its an opinion. As for the insults, its hardly an insult, i just see no reason why some people around here are so biased.

Re: When will Nadal win his 1st Wimbledon after proving people wrong with a final in 06!?

Well its blinkers where I come from. I'm not interested in stats, tennis is not a match of stats, why don't you watch both the matches (which you clearly have not done) and then maybe we can have...

Re: Tomas Berdych

Is Davydenko the worst #3 of all time? Oh no wait, it could be Ljubicic...such a great depth in mens tennis they say

Re: When will Nadal win his 1st Wimbledon after proving people wrong with a final in 06!?

Not really...after all in the FO final, Federer was only in one set, whereas Rafa could have won a second in the Wimby final if he hadn't choked. Take your blinkers off, for a change.

Re: Andy tames the Beast 2-6 6-2 6-2

Yeh if he's such a great volleyer (and server for that matter), why exactly is he such an average player. I think you're really overstating his abilities, he's average at best.

And the need to...

Why feel the need to bring Nadal into all your posts

All Max can do is serve, that is why he's one dimensional...

Re: AP male athlete of year....Roger finished 3rd

Who the hell cares about this kinda stuff. Does it really matter, as if other sportsmen other than Federer don't deserve recognition

Re: How many Grand Slam singles titles will Richard Gasquet win?

Why? Players take a while to develop, I don't see Federer winning a GS at his age (he's 20, right?). Gasquet has amazing tennis talent, and I believe he can win at least 5 slams or more. He's good on...

Re: Berdych the most talented out of all young players

Nadal is by far the most talented.....cos talent is all about results, and includes things such as mental strength, speed, motivation and desire.

Re: Gasquet having a "small" go at Federer and Nadal

Just ignore that fool. Could get more sense out of a 1 month old baby. He put me on ignore, cos he's just talking crap and can't find anything to back up his argument.

Re: 2007 Predictions!

That is such a short-sighted view. I watch tennis because its a sport, and sport is supposed to be about competition. Not right now, which is why its kinda dull. I've been watching tennis for years,...

Re: Gasquet having a "small" go at Federer and Nadal

Anyone in the tennis circuit would say Sampras and Agassi was one of the greatest rilvaries of all time. Now if you can't deal with that fact (because it is a fact, not an opinion) because of some...

Re: Gasquet having a "small" go at Federer and Nadal

So what consitutes a good tennis player is if they can volley or not

You're arguments are so backwards, its almost laughable. I suppose you believe Tim Henman is more talented than Agassi...

Re: Gasquet having a "small" go at Federer and Nadal

How many times did Agassi beat Sampras in the AO. Quite a few I think.

And also Glen, Nadal leads Federer 6-3, if that isn't a rilvary then thats only because Nadal wins most of their matches...
