Re: 2001: A Space Odyssey discussion thread

That film bored me stiff. Really did not enjoy it whatsoever.

Re: Ivan Ljubicic says Djokovic and Murrray are boring

That was before Raonic became less agressive. And he wasn't a teen there, he was 20.

BackhandDTL is spot on with his comments here. Listen to the man and pay attention to his words.

Re: More exciting matchup?

Or maybe if you were 10 years younger to understand the two faced each other 11 times.

Re: More exciting matchup?

2 attacking, creative ballstrikes against each other or Federer against a brick wall who does nothing with the ball but getting back in court...

Jesus, that is one hell of a tough choice! :)

Re: What was the best match of Indian Wells?

Why do people insist on posting this "/thread" in every thread? This is an open forum.

My favourite match was Monaco and Kokkinakis. The final was incredibly poor quality through most of it. Federer...

Re: Djokotards' era argument is absurd

That's like saying Safin and Sampras are similar in some ways. Redundant thing to say.

Did Fleming just say that Federer might be playing the best tennis of his life?

Re: Nadal turned into a choker...

Well, that's generally what happens with top tennis players. Mental and physical scars emerge and become evident, perhaps a decrease in motivation (not so much in Nadal's case, I believe) resulting...

Re: Indian Wells QF: [1] Djokovic def. [32] Tomic W/O

doctor carpet, It's not a one size fits all scenario. I had mine removed the middle of February and I was in absolute agony for 20 days afterwards. Immediately after the surgery I had horrendous pain...

Re: Indian Wells 4R: Tomic def. Kokkinakis 6-4 4-6 6-4

I really didn't think this was that good of a match. I thought Tomic could've been far more aggressive on mid-court balls. Bit of a strange tactic to simply bunt the ball back with seemingly no plan...

Re: New study reveals average penis size

People always say "it's how you use it". Well, yes but if a man with a small penis knew "how to use it" and a man with a large penis did too, then I'm pretty sure women would rather take the latter.

Re: Nishikori's lost "controlled aggression" in 2015?

Did I say that great racket head spead equated to shot velocity? I'm simply stating that Nishikori has little problem generating his own pace. He's one of the best players in the world at doing just...

Yeah. Like in last year's World Cup.

Re: Nishikori's lost "controlled aggression" in 2015?

Nishikori does not struggle to generate his own shot velocity. In fact, I think he's easily one of the most explosive in the world.

Lleyton Hewitt performed very well at this event and he didn't...

Re: Wayne Odesnik caught doping again, out 15 years (aka forever)

Odesnik was probably one of my favourites. Oh well, it's tennis. Who cares. He was coming to the end anyway.

Re: Who was the more exciting player, Gonzalez or Safin?

Gonzalez was among my very favourite players in 2002 and 2003. Back then he had a more aggressive mindset and he was well known for his return on the AD court where he'd run around the backhand and...

Re: IW R128 Ramos def Troicki 6-4 6-4

Why are people going on like this is some sort of ridiculous result? We're talking about Troicki here who's 29 and has only ever won 2 ATP titles.

Re: Murray trying out Bjorkman as assistant coach

How do we know if anything Edberg has done has been of any significance? Coaching Federer to 1 slam final cannot be that difficult.

Wilander has already coached Marat Safin, which didn't turn out...

Re: No thread? DC 1R: Nishikori beats Raonic 3-6 6-3 6-4 2-6 6-4, CAN 2 JPN 2

Nishikori is a joy to watch when he's stood on that baseline taking the ball early.
