Re: Getting Wimbeldon tickets on the day

I've been about seven times - last year was the first time we went on the opening day. We arrived at about 7.30am and got in at about 1.30pm(!) Those who arrived later than us were being turned away....

Re: Hot+Good looking lower ranked players

I stood next to this guy a few years ago on the underground on the way to Wimbledon. He is GORGEOUS in person.

Re: Is Wawrinka the player to win a GS with least tournaments won previously?

Wasn't Pat Rafter's USO title in 1997 his first title?

Re: US Open R2: P.Kohlschreiber def. J.Isner 6-4 3-6 7-5 7-6

Re: Wimbledon SF: N. Djokovic[1] overcomes JM Del Potro [8] 7-5 4-6 7-6(2) 6-7(6) 6-3

After all the epicness, what a muted reaction from the crowd on MP. It was like all the life got sucked out. And it was a great BH to win it

Congrats Nole!

Delpo

Re: Is Wimbledon the worst crowd ever?

Calling them the worst crowd ever is going too far, but this year they seem to be a bit shit for some reason. The crowds for Robsons matches vs Erakovic and Kanep were AWFUL.

Still, I'm sure there...

Re: Wimbledon R2: Mannarino Def. Isner 1-1 ret.

Looked painful. That final attempt at a serve made me cringe.

Poor John.

Re: 2013 RG F: Rafael Nadal def David Ferrer 63 62 63, wins record 8th French Open

Re: RG R4: Federer battles past Simon 6-1 4-6 2-6 6-2 6-3

Great match to watch.

Congrats Fed.

Simon did better than I expected. Seemed weirdly OK with losing though

Re: Commentary at its finest

^Yea I think it was tongue-in-cheek. As in "look how good he (Goran) looks, the bastard." Whereas Lendl looks a tad ... weathered. Bless 'im.

Awfully predictable but Nole was great. Good work!
