Re: New ATP and Wimbledon websites

No, get the same error message. Clearly they still have some technical and performance issues. Some folks there will have to sacrifice their free Sunday...

Re: New ATP and Wimbledon websites

Wikipedia has more than 15,000 links in their tennis articles to the ATP site which have now stopped working. Only the urls to the tournament draw pdfs still function properly.

Re: New ATP and Wimbledon websites

Nice little gimmick; on the player profile pages each player pronounces his name.

New ATP and Wimbledon websites

Apparently it is the season for updating tennis websites. After Roland Garros and the Australian Open it is now the ATP and Wimbledon's turn to launch a new website.

Haven't tested the...

Re: Meerbusch CH R1: Van der Duim def. Westerhof 4-6 6-3 6-3

This has gotten a fair amount of exposure in the Dutch press. Yesterday it was on a television news program. Sportdw is even mentioned in an article on

Re: Indian Wells SF: Nadal def. Berdych 6-4 7-5

Terrible error fest from Berdych at the end gifting the match to Nadal. That missed smash summed it up perfectly.

Re: Nadal is going to play Vina del Mar and/or San Pablo

Vulture or no vulture, it makes sense for Nadal to make his return at Viña del Mar and get a feel for competitive tennis on his favorite surface. That was clear ever since he pulled out of the Aussie...

Re: The "Tennis Country"

United States

People always point to Wimbledon as the tournament with the most heritage and history but the U.S. National Championships is just 4 years younger and has had more editions (132) than...

Re: US Open draw streamed live 12 PM local time on thursday

So where are all the idiots who 'knew' for certain that Murray would be in Djoko's half?

Re: Roland Garros QF: Matchpointovic def. Tsonga 6-1, 5-7, 5-7, 7-6(6), 6-1

Lucky escape for the angry Serb. The better man lost.

Re: Nice R1: Ferrero def. Haase 4-6 7-6(6) 7-6(6) (Saves 1 MP)

Haase is a good player and of course as a Dutchie it's nice to have a countryman in the Top 40 but he really needs to get over this choking business otherwise there's no way he will progress further.

Re: Rome F: Nadal routines Djokovic 7-5, 6-3 to become world No. 2 and No. 2 RG seed

Dissappointing match from Djokovic. Way too may unforced errors and he did not handle the big points well at all. Fairly poor match overall.

Re: All tennis history in one file

Very nice effort!

But there appear to be some errors. It shows Federer having lost some matches and I have no recollection of that whatsoever..... :D

Re: Memphis downgraded to ATP 250 event, replaced by Rio de Janeiro starting 2014

Defending Monte Carlo against a downgrade with the arguments that it is historic (true: first held in 1897) and has most of the top 10 players participating while simultaneously proposing to...

Re: Should they make a grass Masters 1000 event, while dropping another to 500?

I have long felt that there needs to be a Masters tournament on grass but that will only happen if there is at least one additional week between RG and Wimbledon. In other words, not very likely as...

Re: what's your favourite ATP 500?

Perfectly organized tournament with a rich heritage and great line-up of winners.

Dubai and Basel also have excellent tournaments with a good field of players (particularly Dubai)....

Re: Paris QF: Tsonga def. Djokovic W/O

This is as pathetic as it was expected. He may be the no.1 but he's not a champion.

Re: Roland Garros Rd3 Federer dispatches Tipsarevic ^6-1,6-4,6-3

Re: Barcelona R2: Rafa "baker" Nadal def Gimeno-Traver 6-1 6-1

Ugly tennis as usual by Nadal but very effective and almost unbeatable on clay.

Re: Circus R2: Tipsy def. Cilic 6-3 7-6(4)

That surely must have been the worst tie-break in all of tennis history.
