Re: Livescores (April 2011)

Obviously you haven´t seen Petzschner´s stops - or is that what you are calling "bashing"? And btw: When Youzhny wanted the rain delay it was 4:4, 15:15 in the first set. He wasn´t winning, it was...

Re: Wimbledon 2010

But Roddick also doesn´t seem to be as good as last year in Wimbledon so I think maybe Philipp has a chance if he really fights (again).

Re: Week 22: Fürth, Germany [Main Draw]

Well, difficult to say since Greul had the weakest opponent. Nonetheless I think he should win since he seems to be in a very solid shape (despite his first-round-loss in Paris). My guess: The final...

Re: Week 22: Fürth, Germany [Main Draw]

Just came back from Fürth:

Haase beat Kindlmann 6:4, 6:2. The first set was pretty entertaining, but in the second both players made more and more errors. Haases much better service (in one game...

Re: Dubai Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated February 20, 2009)

Possibly Kiefer still isn´t fit enough after his Australia injury. I think he said he wants to come back in the first round of the Davis Cup.

Re: Main Draw

Because the lucky losers are chosen randomly at the Grand Slam tournaments (since last year, I think).

Re: Week 39: Bucharest, Romania [Main Draw]

"def." means "defeats", basically the same as "beats". You will read this often in English-language sports forums, so better memorize it quickly. :)

Re: Week 35: Almaty, Kazakhstan [Main Draw]

Yeah, I remember that match, too. Yes, there WAS a time when tennis tournaments actually were covered extensively in German free-TV ...
Wasn´t that match in Halle? Oh yeah, ATP-Homepage shows: 7:6...

Re: Beijing Olympics Singles Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated August 6, 2008)

Originally he had delayed his flight to Beijing from Tuesday to Thursday so obviously he had hopes to be able to play.

Btw: Now the German Olympics double will be Kiefer and Schüttler! :)

Re: Beijing Olympics Singles Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 28, 2008)

Well, they are right about the German NOC. I absolutely would´ve preferred, if Gremelmayr and Berrer (and the two Belgians and Dudi Sela) were allowed to play.
But I don´t see any fault by Schüttler...
