Re: Is John McEnroe more naturally talented than Federer?

The reasons why I'm so cynical about this whole "naturally talented" thing are:
- it is way too subjective (most would refer to it as "eye-test" or whatever)
- even if we come to any sort of...

Re: Is John McEnroe more naturally talented than Federer?

My automated algorithm works like hawk eye - with 3mm margin of error, pretty sure it will work just fine with general 'Yes'/'No' direction of the replies ;)

Re: Is John McEnroe more naturally talented than Federer?

Pretty simple: if you are a Fed fan - answer is 'Not even close', if you are a Fed hater - answer is 'Clearly'.

Hope that helps.

Re: Videos of Iconic Moments for certain players

And also - could you guys tell me if I copied the video URLs in correct way? When I try and open the videos inside MTF, it keeps starting those from the beginning for some reason..

E.g. in order...

Videos of Iconic Moments for certain players

Sitting at the airport during a long layover and out of all the procrastinating I decided to compile some videos of single moments (usually 1 or 2 consecutive points in a single match) that made a...

Re: Verdasco interview 'easy to say what a headcase Verdasco is'

Copy that. Very thoughtful and articulated.

Guy should get on writing that autobiography (pretty sure some MTF'ers have clever book titles in mind, but whatever)

Re: Will Ernests Gulbis manage to get back into the top 10?

You'd assume after hearing that he altered his FH motion, he'd rise up to #1 in no time. Because I mean... ANY motion would do better than the surfer, and he still reached a Slam Semi with that shit.

Re: Indian Wells R4: Federer def. Nadal 6-2 6-3

Yeah, Rafa kind of did come within 2 or 3 service holds of that elusive 2nd AO title (in 2012 and 2017) which would've made him first to that double-career slam mark in the Open Era, right? (well..in...

Re: Indian Wells R4: Federer def. Nadal 6-2 6-3

This Arabic commentator really disappointed me by not using the word "Maestro" even once in the end of the match, but I guess the bar was set a little too high by all the other Arabs who worked Fed...

Re: Indian Wells R4: Federer def. Nadal 6-2 6-3

Nadal had not freaking idea what hit him, which was perfectly captured by his facial expression while he was not even attempting to challenge that last shot by Fed.

Re: IW 4R: [3] Wawrinka def. [LL] Nishioka, 3–6, 6–3, 7–6(4)

I severely prescribe the last 5-6 games+TB of this match to the fans of tennis drama and great atmosphere (a little WTA-ish in terms of breaks of serve though, but I didn't care).

This little...

Re: IW R4: N. Kyrgios d. N. Djokovic 6-4, 7-6(3)

Nole definitely needs a better Egg as he is aging, the former one ain't doing it for him anymore

Re: IW R4: N. Kyrgios d. N. Djokovic 6-4, 7-6(3)

Just embarrassing for Del Potro... ;)

Can't remember the last time I rooted for Djokovic in a match more than in this one (maybe sometime in 2011 when he was dethroning Nadal in some of clay...

Re: Indian Wells R3: Djokovic def. del Potro 7-5, 4-6, 6-1

Yeah, I am pretty sure Delpo wanted to steal Nole's thunder a little bit as well, after being smacked around to be broken for 3*-1 in the third, maybe get Djokovic out of rhythm to an extent.

...

Re: WWW? Indian Wells R4: [2] Djokovic vs. [15] Kyrgios

I mean who the hell puts this match at 3PM the next day for Nole? It is not like there is ANYONE who finished later than him today, and there are SIX freakin' players who get to play later than him...

Re: Indian Wells R3: Djokovic def. del Potro 7-5, 4-6, 6-1

Delpo is allergic to beating Nole outside national competitions (IW'13 was the only time, if I am not mistaken). It just sucks that he is losing to him now that Nole lost most of his mojo.

Anyway,...

Re: IW R3: Kyrgios d. Zverev: 6-3 6-4

Kyrgios is playing the winner of Djokovic-Delpo AGAIN? This part of the draw is a freakin' tiny Acapulco

Re: IW R2: Del Potro def Delbonis 7-6(7) 6-3

Granted that I only watched the HLs and that it was against Delbonis, but I do like that increased confidence in a two-hander from Delpo. Not sure if it had to do with more match practice or with...

Just pathetic Juan... Broken straight back on three occasions in this match. What a joke.

Re: 2017 Live Commentary Vol. 4

I mean... what the fuck is wrong with him? It is almost like saying "let Del Potro break you, and enjoy the momentum that will flow your way in a little bit". How can this shit be happening....

Re: Kyrgios bad act in mexico

I feel like with Kyrgios we will eventually hit that point when you only post threads whenever he has a match that finishes without incidents.
