Re: Cañas is the #1 Argentine player

Ljubicic is two points ahead in the race. Surely Canas must now beat Robredo for you to win?

Edit: Sorry, forgot Canas had played a challenger in 2007 as well as the ones at the end of '06....

Re: TT #44b ~ Aachen - Tuesday Differences in Posts #116 and #117

Just checking the draw on site (http://www.atp-ac.com/), El Aynaoui appears to have withdrawn and been replaced by a LL.

Re: Has Federer won 62 or 63 matches this year?

W/O against Haas perhaps?

Edit: Actually, there may be another reason. The ATP counts Davis Cup, so if you have 62-7, it should have 64-7, but it doesn't count walkovers so that would mean it...

Re: basel final: federer vs nieminen. who wins?

Federer has never lost a set to Nieminen, I don't see this changing.

Re: Best 'peak' Player

Given the current opinion of GM, Nalbandian would seem to be a glaring omission.

Re: can nalbandian still qualify if he wins everything he can from now til shanghai

Should he win Madrid, Basle and Paris then yes, he would have 405 points (by my count) which might sneak him into eighth should the rest of the contenders have a similar week to this. However, he's...

Re: Will Nalbandian come back to Top 10 Ranking after AO?

No. As others have pointed out, he hasn't gained any points this week and won't gain many pre-Australian Open certainly. Nalbandian has rarely played Paris, let alone fared well there. Also, would a...

Re: Can Gonzalez Possibly Blow Out a Semi Run At Madrid?

He is favourite against Monaco indoors, neither Youzhny or Kiefer have had particularly good form, which leaves Ivo which is always a toss-up.
Gonzalez should do it, doesn't mean he will.

Re: David BANs Berdych from Madrid, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-2)

Another good effort to defend those semi-final points from last year. Though Nalbandian's habit of switching off after six or seven games will probably stop him getting further than the next round.

Re: New Balls #2003--2007#..how did 5-rivals become `ONE`??

Federer wasn't exactly racking up the titles at Murray's age either. I'm not suggesting that Murray will achieve anything like Federer has, but it is a little premature to assign him a slamless...

Re: Oscar Hernandez??

No doubt this is why he has let karlovic hit 11 aces in less than four games in protest.
