Re: One armed Alex Hunt earns first ATP ranking point

I can see how he won his first match love and love, hits the ball cleanly.

Loving the ending to that vid.

Queens R2: [7] Berdych def. Shapovalov 7-6(4) 6-7(4) 7-5

Berdych was alright, but Shapovalov looking more and more like the real deal every match he plays.

Re: Wimbledon sighted BOATing with Tommy Haas wildcard

Goran was only 10 years younger than Haas is now. He Haas a good chance of performing the fairy tale methinks.

Brits give a WC to a German legend over a British legend. Crooked Brits,...

Re: Becker's Bankrupt!!!

Hard to argue that Becker was and is good at his job. Tennis, commentary, coaching. He's found success in everything he touches, aside from money and relationships.

Can't be good at everything.

Queens R2: Muller def. Tsonga 6-4 6-4

Queens upset no. 23234934823

According to commies, Tsonga prepared for this match this morning by spending 30 mins on the practice court not returning any serves.

Solid strategy.

Re: Benoit Paire getting warning, point penalty, game penalty within 2 minutes

I like how he fell over himself trying to mutilate his racquet. He then gifted balls to members of the crowd. Paire showing true grit, passion, determination and public relations- all important...

Re: Queens R1: Lopez def. [2]Wawrinka 7-6(4) 7-5

Wawa's blocked returns on grass get eaten up by good serving, solid grass court players. Despite the betting odds, Lopez should have been the favourite, being such a natural on the surface.

Re: Queens R1: (Q)Shapovalov def. Edmund 7-6(4) 4-6 6-4

Edmund hasn't grassed the intricacies of playing on grass yet (intended). But Shapovalov's game is interesting to watch.

Commies were a bit too focused on that accident in the Davis cup. Mistakes...

Re: Queens R1: Young def. Kyrgios 7-6, ret.

Nick was struggling before the match, stretching with his trainer so it looked like he wouldn't make it far here, coming out with a large support around his knee. The fall at 4-4 didn't help, and he...

Re: John McEnroe on Andy Murray. A diss.

Rather than an insult it's a pretty huge compliment that he is constantly compared to those 3 (whether you like it or not). Obviously he's a distant 4th, but he's still always placed alongside them...

Re: Ivo Karlovic: I should've developed 2HBH, I wouldn't lose a match if I had two-ha

He also has one of the better smashes, better than average slice and occasionally does a good impersonation of a player with outstanding net reactions.

Re: Ivo Karlovic: I should've developed 2HBH, I wouldn't lose a match if I had two-ha

He's a man before his time. It'll take another 38 years for most tennis fans to fully appreciate Ivo's humour. Can't blame em'... Tennis isn't known to have humorous and/or clever deadpan...

Re: Lyon CH F: [WC]Felix Auger-Aliassime def. Mathias Bourgue 6-4 6-1 (First CH Title

As MWW said, treat him well and protect him both mentally and physically. Cotton candy is just a nod to his age.

Re: Lyon CH F: [WC]Felix Auger-Aliassime def. Mathias Bourgue 6-4 6-1 (First CH Title

Kid is 41-11 for the year in futures/challengers and 20-6 in Challengers alone. That's something special at his age- wrap him up in cotton wool or cotton candy if that's what he prefers.

Re: What Final would be the best for tennis and T.V. at Wimbledon?

Personally would like to see Muzz-Nadal in a Final once in our lifetimes.

In terms of worldwide attraction, nobody or their dog would argue with Fedal being the number one attraction on TV or...

Re: What Final would be the best for tennis and T.V. at Wimbledon?

It would break records, but it would be unfair. 2 against 1.

Re: How will you react at this point if Federer loses in R1/2 of Wimbledon?

Pretty damn happy. Possibly less casuals at the latter stages of the event when I go (but still the same amount of RF hats unfortunately). Add to that a higher chance of a hungry young player...

Optimistic thinking. Looking forward to seeing Kohli doing the business at Halle this time. No, I'm not on any medication.. Officially.

Re: Stuttgart R2: Tommy Haas d. Roger Federer 2-6 7-6(10) 6-4

Haas was impressive, I'm really happy for him and Ima let him finish, but that interviewer sounded like a classic Bond villain.
