Re: Matchups when the H2H doesn't tell the truth

Nishikori 8-4 Ferrer - Ferrer was lucky to face Nishikori a few times when the latter was injured or sick, otherwise he'd be his turkey already. His only win with even a shred of legitimacy is Tokyo...

Re: MTF 2015 Most Disliked Active Players (3rd update - Nadal leads, Djokovic up to #

It's fact. There's absolutely nothing Wawrinka can do that Federer can't. That includes swinging for the fences/hitting every shot as hard as he can and praying it lands in, only Federer doesn't...

Re: MTF 2015 Most Disliked Active Players (3rd update - Nadal leads, Djokovic up to #

What are you on about? There's no way a one-dimensional ballbasher like Wawrinka is even remotely comparable to Federer talent-wise. Aside from hitting the ball harder, which doesn't come from any...

Re: If Kei possessed a mediocre serve...

Title needs editing, surely you meant 'if he didn't have a mediocre serve' or 'if his serve is any good'.

If Kei possessed a mediocre serve, well nothing would change, he does posesss a mediocre...

Re: Who Will Stop Djokovic Getting 18 Slams?

Sensible post. I'd only add Raonic alongside Ferrer to the list of top 10 players who can't win a Slam this year...

Re: Geneva R2: [2] Cilic def. [WC] Rublev, 4-6 7-6(7) 6-1 [saved 1 MP]

Quite a few. I agree with you that his emotions on court are all over the place and he'll have to learn to reign it in with time. But even considering that, you can't say he's not ready to beat a top...

Re: Geneva R2: [2] Cilic def. [WC] Rublev, 4-6 7-6(7) 6-1 [saved 1 MP]

Bizarre comment considering he was one point away from doing it, a weak serve or a DF from Cilic on match point would have been enough. Great performance from Rublev, he's already a fantastic...

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

You think Berdych is in his prime ? He's just doing better because the field is weak for the most part, his best tennis is long gone, BH in particular is no longer a weapon.

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

Berdych is well past his prime and still top 3 in the race + will be top 4 seed at RG, and easily beating everyone until QFs/SFs of every tournament, that about sums up this era.

Just when we thought nothing could ever be worse than your tennis-related posts, your football posts come along  You've already locked up the ACC title and we're still in May.

Re: MTF 2015 Most Disliked Active Players (Second update - post #236 - Nadal leads)

Didn't count this vote. So you hate Djokovic and Nadal, want to give 10p to one and 9 to the other or? Be more specific.

Llodra is retired, isn't he? Not sure if he should count here...

What...

Re: MTF 2015 Most Disliked Active Players (3rd update - Nadal leads, Djokovic up to #

Third update. Nadal's leads increases to 52p (was 36p last time). Djokovic up to #3 (was #5), but below #2 it's all very close and wide open still. #3 Djokovic is 246p behind Raonic at #2, but only...

Re: How boring is tennis these days?

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it's because he enjoyed Federer's creative and offensive style of play as opposed to the all-grinding, no-shotmaking style of the current #1 ? We had gone...
