Re: Chris Evert: "Rafa is the humblest champion we've ever seen"

In fake humility Nadal is second to none.

Re: WWW Wimbledon R2: [10] Rafael Nadal vs [Q] Dustin Brown

Congrats to all who picked Brown as the winner. I didn't think he would pull it off in a best of 5 but he ended up winning today.

Re: Wimbledon R2: [Q] Brown def. [10] Nadal, 7-5 3-6 6-4 6-4

This one was kinda expected but still great to see Brown play to his potential and win the match. :worship::worship:

Re: Wawrinka makes fun of Kyrgios in interview

Wawrinka has just pointed out Kyrgios' contradictory pre and post match statements. It is Kyrgios who needs to think twice before saying things, not Wawrinka.

Re: Why Rafa is becoming a frequent victim of "150% performance from opponents" recen

Lol, he has made a career out of on fire opponents letting him win matches he should have lost. He has ran out of luck and his aged, tired legs have too many miles on them.

Re: ATP Players Should Call for Men to Play Women

+1. If women want equality they should just compete in the same pool as men. No other place of work has this facility - a separate women's department where standards are lower than those for men.

Re: Most aesthetically pleasing matchup?

Llodra - Berdych. It was a joy to watch Llodra beat Berdych at the USO a few years ago.

Re: Who could have beaten Wawrinka at the French Open?

Federer and Nadal - if both of them played together.

Re: Novak Djokovic - 3 slams in 3 years, is he really that good?

Good point. I am not a Djokovic fan but I appreciate and respect his consistency. Even if his career were to end right now, he has a great record. He most likely will win at-least 2-3 slams more and...

Re: Has Wawrinka done enough to get into Hall of Fame already

Chang was a pioneer of sorts in that he was the first(and only) Asian American to win a grandslam title. Roddick was lucky to win just one slam and perhaps he was inducted as consolation for...

Re: Did you feel sorry for Djokovic today?

Yes. I was rooting for Stan but it was sad to see Djoko come up short.

Re: Djokovics's performance today was nothing else but piss poor

Maybe he thought Wawa's hot streak won't last more than a set or two and he just needs to be patient to draw errors from him. But Wawa never let up his intensity and just dismantled Djokovic mentally.

Re: Will Novak win RG and Cinci in his career ?

He will win RG if luck co-operates but there are other slams to be won too, he will still be considered an ATG if he gets his slam count to 10-12.

Re: Will Djokovic ever win the French Open?

I think he will win it next year if the draw opens up favorably for him.

Re: Which Wawrinka slam win was more surprising and which was more impressive?

To me AO win was the bigger surprise. Before the final, everyone(except Nadaltards) was like "damn, why did Stan beat Djoko, he is going to lose the final for sure." And then Stanimal ripped Nadal...

Re: Aggressive tennis won today....a victory for tennis even in an era of slow courts

It is a victory for beautiful tennis. That monster OHBH crushed Djokovic's spirit today.

Re: Is Djokovic overrated?

No he is not. Since 2011 he has played consistently and showed up in late stages of slams like the #1 ranked player is expected to. He didn't disappear with mysterious injuries or whine incessantly...

Re: RG Final: [8] Stan Wawrinka def. [1] Novak Djokovic 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4

Wow, Stan played like a champ and never let up in his intensity. That backhand was jawdropping and there was nothing Djoker could do to stop him today. Feel sad for Djokovic. So near yet so far for...

Re: Who do you *want* to win tomorrow?

I want Stan to win. That OHBH is so amazing to WATCH. But I won't feel bad or bitter if Djokovic wins. He has done all the hardwork and it will be a well deserved win for him.

Re: Players' resilience when being outplayed on their most dominant tournaments

Even in 2014 Federer forced a 5th set. Nadal losing in 3 straight sets today is very disappointing.
