Re: How it will be in US Open 2011 August 29-September11?

I think he played much better than expected. Too bad he lost the 1st set. Then of course he kind of gave up in the second set, but came back to fight strongly in 3rd set. I think even if he won the...

Re: How it will be in US Open 2011 August 29-September11?

I think when his retirement will take place will depend on his health. If he suffers from another injury again, he would retire (because it is frustrating he had so many injuries and really did not...

Re: Tennis Masters Cincinnati, 14.08.2011-21.08.2011

I actually think Nalby should ask for a wild card to play 1 more tournament before US Open.

He won't have any chance at US Open, but he could use it as 'practice' match to get used to playing...

Re: Tennis Masters Cincinnati, 14.08.2011-21.08.2011

I only realize today that there is a blog on Nalbandian:

www.vamosdavid.com

From this blog, I found the most interview on Nalby - he talked about how difficult it is to come back from injuries...

Re: Will David survive vs J. Blake in Washington, 2011?

It is very disappointing to see him playing that badly. Injuries is one big reason, but his weak mentality (and gave up matches easily) is rather the #1 reason. He no longer could play consistently...

Re: WIMBLEDON 2011, 20 June – 3 July

He MUST first win the first 2 matches before worrying about Federer.

Hopefully he could post a huge upset and beat Federer? Have they ever met on grass? When was the last time Nalby beat Federer?...

Re: David News & Articles

It is so disappointing and frustrating to see him missing a GS again, and why does he fail to play with good health for a full season, and also either did poorly or was absent from the GS since 2007?...

Re: Next is DC R1 vs Romania. Date: 04 Mar - 06 Mar 2011

Yet another injury...I am really afraid it is almost impossible for him to win a GS - he doesn't have the stamina to win seven 5-set matches. It seems his best GS results (2002-2006) are far behind...

Re: Australian Open 2011, 17-30 January 2011, Melbourne, Australia

Nalby needs to start the match very very very quickly - I am worried he won't have the stamina to come back if he trails by 2 sets to 0 or 2 sets to 0.

If he wins the first 2 sets quickly, then I...

Re: BNP Paribas Masters, Paris, 7-14 November 2010

I honestly dont think he would win a GS in 2011 due to his lack of 'experience' in playing 5-set matches in recent years (missing many GSs, and also losing in early rounds). I hope he could reach the...

Re: BNP Paribas Masters, Paris, 7-14 November 2010

But I think he did much better than expected, and the result shows that he has to work harder before he could have a chance to beat the top players like Nadal/Federer/Djokovic/Murry/etc. again.

Re: BNP Paribas Masters, Paris, 7-14 November 2010

Congrats to David for such a consistent year - he NEVER lost in the first round of all tournaments! He should have an outside chance to end the year at about #10 had he been healthier in the first...

Re: Swiss Indoors Basel, Switzerland, 1–7 November 2010

The recent loss to Simons is really disappointing (he choked again serving for the match), but I am actually very proud of him that he NEVER lost in the 1st round of any tournament this year (when...
