Re: French Open final 08: Nadal hammers Federer 6-1 6-3 6-0

I wanted to add a thank you to Rafa for my being able to witness someone playing at their full potential, a thing of great beauty, and my heart goes out to Rogi for being at the receiving end, but I...

Re: French Open final 08: Nadal hammers Federer 6-1 6-3 6-0

A wonderful win for Rafa and the lowkey celebration and short acceptance speech are testament to how much that win meant for him for Rafa does not believe in words words words ( see his press...

Re: Stich backs Djokovic to succeed Federer

I disagee with Stich. Personally I have no need to know about Rafa, Rogi or Novak's likes and dislikes. All I need to know is what i can see: that they all play great tennis and have different...

Re: Was It A Strategic Tank : Poll & Discussion

At some point Federer is going to decline. We are seeing the start of that now. That is all. Tanking here would not be good for Federer before the Claycourt season where he normally only wins Hamburg.

Re: Novak will be to Roger as Seles was to Graf?

True, it's useless. And what you say is true. It is just something to chat about on a tennis forum with anyone who is interested.

Re: Novak will be to Roger as Seles was to Graf?

I know this is off topic but I love the 89-92 years the most. Sabatini, Sanchez, Seles and Graf are to me Nalby, Nadal, Novak and Fed, whom I prefer in that order while, regarding the women, I prefer...

Re: Novak will be to Roger as Seles was to Graf?

I don't want to see that either. It still makes me sad to think what happened to Seles. I am only alluding to how Novak is rising so quickly and confidently up the rankings and winning big titles to...

Re: Novak will be to Roger as Seles was to Graf?

I hear you about the Nadal idea. It especially fits in with Seles' wins over Graf at the French. Novak remembles Seles a little more regarding his HC ability. I think Novak is more likely to win at...

Re: Novak will be to Roger as Seles was to Graf?

Yeah it is something I just thought of. I am a big fan of Graf and there is something about the way Roger is playing and the buzz around his recent losses that reminds me of Steffi back then. Steffi...

Novak will be to Roger as Seles was to Graf?

Just an idea that passed in my head. Roger, like Steffi did in 1990/91, is not playing his beat for whatever reason after several dominant years. Then a great talent comes along and rises quickly up...

Re: ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti: "WE'RE KILLING OUR SPORT"

I trust the ITF to keep the tradition of the Slams. Whatever Mr. Disney does to the ATP, the slams will always represent the essence and beauty of tennis and I will always wash them devotedly...

Re: Who is the greatest dissapointment of 2006?

I hate to say it, but Nalbandian. I really foolishly expected him to deliver some big sucesses this year, but it just never happened. Still, glad for his consistency that he finished top ten, but...

Re: Federer def. Nadal 6-3 3-6 6-3 in Seoul exhibition

I was at the match live and it was pretty good. The first set was all Roger. The next was much better when Rafa seemed more comfortable and they had some great rallies. Roger's sliced bh is sooo...

Re: best match of the year?

For me, it was Fed-Nadal at RG. The match had historical importance, Roger, for once, looked a little overwhelmed and Nadal showed us how strong he was.

Re: Why Federer is better than Sampras

I can't be bothered to quote the original thread, but all I have to ask is who is the OP trying to convince and why such gushing remarks? Ok, Fed is great, big deal.
