Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 19

Re: RG Final: [8] Stan Wawrinka def. [1] Novak Djokovicr 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4

Amazing match, what a high level. Djokovic played one of his best matches ever, but Wawrinka refused to hit the errors.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 15

Acapulco R2: [Q] Harrison def. [3] Dimitrov 7-5 4-6 6-0

Harrison is now 1-22 vs. top 10 opponents.

Meanwhile Dimitrov falls out of the top 10.

Re: Melbourne Q1: Odesnik def Harrison 6-3 7-6(4)

 Ryan reminds us he is still useless, in case that challenger win cast any doubt.

Re: Tiburon CH R1: Tim Smyczek d. Ryan Harrison 6-3, 6-3

He's just in denial. Did you see that ATP Uncovered about him a month ago? Still saying he's happy with his team, that his game is fine the way it is and he just needs to learn to be consistent. It's...

Re: USO SF: Cilic def. Federer: 6-3 6-4 6-4

Cilic played incredibly well. Federer had to come up with a magical performance himself, but he couldn't. Well deserved victory.

Re: 2014 Live Commentary Thread Vol. 24

Djokovic continues pushing hoping that the errors will come. Being rewarded this game.

Re: 2014 Live Commentary Thread Vol. 23

Nishikori :worship:

Consolidate now please. If you don't hit UE then Novak can do nothing.

Re: Why is Djokovic far more popular worldwide than in the USA?

The general public doesn't enjoy the five hour grind fests that are hailed as "classics" by some. The sport is gradually losing fans and so its stars also become lesser celebrities.

Re: Beijing 2013 F: (WC) Li Na def. (1) Novak Djokovic 7-6

Re: The Federer past his prime at 26/27 excuse looks ridiculous now

Nadal and Djokovic are already declining as well. It's just that there is no competition.

And their defensive games are far more solid, their strokes are very safe, so even if they become a bit...

Re: USO SF: Djokovic d. Stan Wawrinka 2-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4

Best of 5 is outdated, tennis should not be about stamina :o

Matches like these are just disgusting, not the right result at all.

Re: Are we too harsh on Federer?

I don't think we're too harsh. Many of his losses aren't even due to physical decline, it's more stupid tactics, inability to change tactics, stupid decisions, stubbornness when something isn't...

Cincinnati R1: [WC] R. Harrison def. Dolgopolov 7-6(3) 6-4

Keeps winning somehow... at least the WC wasn't wasted. Ferrer in R2.

Re: Who is the worst pusher in the top 100?

Definitely Murray, he always loses when he pushes. He just can't do it. Djokovic is the best pusher.

Atlanta QF: Harrison def. Giraldo 6-3 3-6 7-6(2)
