Re: Prediction: Murray Will Never Win Another Slam

Roger? Perhaps, though in a direct matchup I would slightly favour Andy. Rafa? Sorry, I mean RAFA? Yeah, no.

Re: Prediction: Murray Will Never Win Another Slam

Why does some people have to be so bloody dramatic on these boards? Either player x wins every slam for the next three years or they will never accomplish anything ever again. It doesn't work that...

Re: Rate the Australian Open 2017 out of ten

9/10, quite a few entertaining matches and the narrative of Federer and Nadal duking it out once more to achieve something not yet achieved (#18 or the double Career Slam) was a good one.

Re: Tennis in 2017: The "impossible" year?

I'll believe the impossible is possible when a Frenchman wins RG.

Allez Gael!

Re: AO Final: Federer def Nadal 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3

I can't believe I walked right into that one.

Re: AO Final: Federer def Nadal 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3

Congratulations to Federer and his fans. Only saw bits of the 5th set, but Fed was clutch when it mattered.

18 is a much nicer number than 17 anyway.

Re: Brisbane F: [7] Grigor Dimitrov def. [3]Kei Nishikori 6-2 2-6 6-3

Pleasantly surprised, did not expect Dimitrov to keep it up until the end. Hope he can raise the bar during the rest of the year as well. Now we only have to wait for Nard Dog to pull his head out of...

Re: Doha Final: [2]Novak Djokovic def. [1]Andy Murray 6-3 5-7 6-4

It's an odd-numbered year.

This result was inevitable.

Re: Djokovic and Becker part ways

Parting ways with the best coach in the world will only harm Djokovic. What a mug.

Re: Shanghai R2: Viktor Troicki def. [4] Rafael Nadal 6-3 7-6(3)

Never in doubt. More talented player won.

Hilarious result.

Re: WWW? Stuttgart SF: [1] Federer vs [3] Thiem

Hoping for a Thiem win if only for the randomness, but Fed should have this one.

Re: Wawrinka adds Richard Krajicek into his team for the grass season

Who knows, Krajicek might just help him make a few tweaks that will increase his chances to go far. Would defo like to see Wawa go all S&V, as unrealistic as it may be.

Re: B. Becker: I'm a better coach than player

Onkel Boris knows his stuff. In general I suspect it's the little things he's been able to help with, slight changes to the service motion, tactical views, psychology, in short the things that can...

Re: Andy Murray: "The depth in the game just now is strong."

The Nishikori generation is weaker than average, the Nadal generation is stronger than average, the Federer generation was good but not as good as those who came after them (except for Federer...

Re: Onto grass season now, who's ready?

Have a feeling Kyrgios will have a bit of a Cinderella run at Wimbly. In general I'm hoping for some fresh blood.

Re: 18 slams are very likely for peak Djokovic

It's as inevitable as Federer ending up in the mid 20s after winning Wimbly 2012.

Re: HISTORY RG F: Novak Djokovic def. Andy Murray 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-4 Gets The Grand Slam

After all these years, it's just such a bloody relief he's got that monkey off his back now. Finally.

Kudos to Murray for reaching the final, could very well win RG next year.

Now it's time to...
