i saw him play 3 times (2003, 2004, and 2005) at the Siebel Open in San Jose- I was supposed to see him this year until he pulled out last minute. The first year he won the title match incredibly...

they had an autograph session with him at the open, so i kinda met/him got his autograph! this was after he lost, though... poor guy- it was nice of him to still stick around and do autographs later...

i got to see two of the bjorkman/mcenroe matches, as well a few of their practice sessions. it was a lot of fun, and i got bjorkman's autograph too :). he stuck around and signed pretty much...

yeah, i felt bad for the guy because he was cruising through the first half of the match... and it seemed like he was having movement troubles (he even had the trainer come)... and the crowd...

i just watched him play a 1st round match against Hewitt at the SAP open.. he lost, 4-6, 2-6, but it looked like he was going to beat him for a while. he came up with some good shots. good to see him...

he even said later that the "see you in 2 years" in Canada comment meant he might just even be back as a spectator, not as a player- he purposefully made it vague.

plus he was injured today...
