Re: AO R1: Chardy def. Coric 3-6 6-4 7-5 6-4

Borna will be ready next year.

He will be top 20 by the end of this season. Mark my words.

Del Potro vs Cilic: who is better?

Same age, same built, same slam record, similar game, same bad record against Big 4.

Who's the better player.

Re: Future of German Tennis

Zverev brothers - Russians
Lisicki - Polish
Kerber - Polish
Petkovic - Serb

The future looks great...

Btw, Germany has yet to properly thanked Poland for Klose and Podolski :tape:

Nishikori - Raonic rivalry

Both play very contrasting game which seem to complement each other.

Kei now leads 4-1, 2-0 in finals, 1-1 in slams. But Milos has yet to peak.

Will this be the future of tennis?

Re: Toyko F: Nishikori def. Raonic 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4

I feel bad for Milos. Losing three straight finals

On the bright side, another title for Kei :rocker2:

Re: Is Kei really the first Asian to make a slam final?

No. Tatarstan is in the west of the Urals and still part of European Russia.:wavey:

Re: Is Kei really the first Asian to make a slam final?

We might throw in Sharapova as well as she was "Asian" by virtue of her birthplace (Asian Siberia)

Re: WWW US Open 2014 Final: Marin Cilic vs Kei Nishikori

Nishikori does very well against big servers and servebots, especially those who can not keep with gruesome rallies. I would be surprised if he loses this match.

Re: Is Kei Nishikori Exactly Whom Tennis Needs?

Well, he is this generation's servebot antidote so he is very much what the future of tennis needs.

Re: Nottingham CH, R2: (LL)Kutrovsky def. R. Harrison 6:4, 2:6, 7:6(7)

Ryan

He's running out of excuses. Is he going the Donald Young way?

Re: Is Roger Federer Jealous Of Andy Murray?

Well, he has a losing H2H on both of them

His wins against Andy though are more important matches but his losses against Rafa are more meaningful and painful.

So many butthurt trolls in the thread I love it....

So many butthurt trolls in the thread I love it. Making so many excuses for their boy Nole as if he really was a better player.

Gifting Nadal? What a poor excuse to lose. It's back to the drawing...

Wow, Rafa is really cementing his position. ...

Wow, Rafa is really cementing his position.

Lol at Djokovic fans making the usual excuse. 2011 was the real gift but Nole wanted more, now all he will have from now on will be runner-up plates...

Re: Wimbledon R3 (12) Kei Nishikori vs (23) Andreas Seppi

Well, they're both made of glass. Hopefully, both will be in one piece after the match.

Re: Murray says he wants to take on Serena Williams

She serves like an average male player, has a built bulkier than Nadal, speed comparable to James Blake, powerful strokes, and enough level of testosterone to compete for the ATP tour.

Re: Verdasco: "Because I’m not Nadal/Federer I need to do what ATP wants"

Well, why don't they win slams first if they want to be "powerful".

Re: Have you ever disliked a player because of his appearance?

Tomic. I saw him play and saw the news about how bad his attitude is and I hated him more.
