Re: Where does Nadal go from here?

I'm not a big Nadal fan, but I hope he get's back to full fitness. He usually does and especially in the build up to Roland Garros and to think he could win his 10th title :worship:

Re: Australian Open F: (1) Novak Djokovic vs (6) Andy Murray

Got to go for Murray in 4 the way he's been playing. Strange to think he could head to Roland Garros and pip Djokovic to the Grand Slam?

Re: Toni Nadal: "I don't like big serves. I like to see tactics at work out on the co

Exactly, and people complain about baseline rallies. Who would you rather go and watch as a neutral - Raonic v Cilic or Djokovic v Murray? I know were I'd be heading :)

Sampras and to a certain...

If there's one guy involved in tennis that I don't like, it's that man. When the TV camera focuses on the guy and the commentators keep referring to him as "Uncle Tony", it really annoys me. I don't...

Re: WWW Wimbledon SF: [1] Djokovic vs [11] Dimitrov

Although Dimitrov is playing great tennis at the moment, Djokovic will find a way and probably win in 4 sets :)

Re: Raonic Will win more Slams than Murray

I can't honestly see it. I think the fella will win one and possibly two, but I can see Murray winning another slam or two, although on current form you wouldn't think so!

Re: WTF F: Novak Djokovic defeats Rafael Nadal 2:0 (6-3, 6-4)

I thought it was a measured display from Noel and looked comfortable throughout the match. This is a huge psychological result going in to 2014. I can see Djokovic getting his No.1 ranking back...

Re: USO Final 2013: Heroic GOAT Nadal def. Djokovic 6-2 3-6 6-4 6-1

Not a big Rafa fan, but credit were credit's due. They way he fought back in the 3rd set was amazing and who know's how many GS titles he has left in him.

I have never seen a more determined...

Re: How many more Majors can Murray win?

I'd go for four more >> 2 x Wimbledon 1 x US 1 X Australian.

Spooky Or What.........

Someone brought this to my attention last night and may be destiny was calling.

1. 77 years since last male winner
2. 1977 last British winner
3. Murray's 7th GS final
4. Djokovic going for 7th...

Re: Andy Murray-the first Brit to win Wimbledon in 77 years, beating Djokovic 6-4 7-5

Congratulations to Murray and ending the long wait for a British winner.

I'm quite surprised at some folk still having a go at his style of play and that tennis is dying with Djokovic and Murray now...

Re: No one cares? Wimbledon R1: Andy Murray def. Benjamin Becker 6-4 6-3 6-2

The first round of any major is a potential banana skin - just ask Rafa! Murray played ok and his fitness looks good, but he'll still have to improve if he's to beat Djokovic in the final.

Re: Wimbledon R1: Steve Darcis def. [5] Rafael Nadal 7-6 (4) 7-6 (8) 6-4

Taking nothing away from the excellent performance yesterday of Darcis, he really doesn't look comfortable anymore on grass. The US and the AO will probably tell us more about what lies ahead for...

Re: Prediction: Nadal will win US Open 2013

I just don't see it. He might win another slam outwith Roland Garros, but judging by his movement and the punishing clay court season, I don't think it will be this one.

Re: Queen's F 2013: Andy Murray def. Marin Cilic 5-7, 7-5, 6-3

Murray is the best of starters and again had to fight from one set down to win, but there one thing for sure he has great fighting spirit and energy. If he can improve on his second serve and stop...

Re: RG QF: Tsonga beats Federer 7-5, 6-3, 6-3

I did fancy Tsonga to beat Federer today, but not as straight forward as that. I wonder how he'll fair next against the old slogger Ferrer?

Re: IW F: Nadal def. Del Potro 46 63 64

I'm not a big Rafa fan, but credit were credit's due. Del Potro ran out of gas half way through the match, but there's no doubting he's back and it just won't be the French he'll be a real contender...

Re: how many slams do the following playing have in them?

Excellent question and a lot depends on Nadal's future fitness and how much Federer has left in the tank.

Federer 1 more probably Wimbledon GS Total = 18

Nadal 3 more probably RG X 3 GS Total = 14...

This is one slam event I don't see Murray winning on and especially if Nadal gets back to some sort of fitness. I can see him winning Wimbledon and the AO, but RG belongs to someone else and it took...

Re: AO F : Djokovic beats Murray 6-7(2) 7-6(3) 6-3 6-2

The best man won for sure and especially when Murray failed to break the Djokovic serve in 24 games. I can see these two guys being the dominant force in tennis for the next couple of years, although...

This is still my second favourite GS to Wimbledon and I always look forward to it's arrival every year.

Re: WWW AO Final: [1] Novak Djokovic vs [3] Andy Murray

It's a tough one to call, but I'd go for Murray in 4 or 5.

Re: AO SF: Murray beats Federer 6-4 6-7(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-2

The better player one on the day and had better stats - winners, aces and points won. I think the previous game Federer had finally took it toll in the fifth set. Should be a cracker in the final and...

Re: Let us salute Novak!

Totally agree and to become no.1 when you have two of the finest tennis players who have ever picked up a racket in Federer and Nadal that's really saying something.

Djokovic has the heart of a lion...
